This building, once a Packard Dealership, now
houses luxury
condos and offices. The location is North Broad
Street, near Vine
This Packard was totally restored over a 15 year
period.
Every part of the car is new or rebuilt.
In addition to the trunk rack shown above, there
are many
accessories on the car. Radio and heater,
deluxe glove box
door with clock and cigar lighter and very rare
Steel Artillery
wheels, which are a 1936 optional accessory.
The color is ORLEANS BLUE, which is an authentic
Packard color
offered on the 1936 120's.
Pinstriping is in a lighter shade of blue-grey
done in the proper
style of the period.
The interior material was supplied by Bill Hirsch.
It is the authentic Blue-Grey striped broadcloth.
The interior restoration was done by Gary Maucher
Auto Interiors
in Newtown, Pa. All garnish mouldings were wood
grained and
reproduction sill plates were installed to complete
the finishing touches.
The Door Panels are exactly as the were made in 1936.
